Italy protests against capitalism in the G7 Summit

Activists protested Monday against capitalism, war and military spending during the G7 Summit, which brings together seven countries of greater economic weight in the world, in Lucca, in the North of Italy.
“Tuscany against the G-7, were the killers,” read one of the posters that they showed in the March, some demonstrators said in unison: “Millions of euros for their military expenditures while funds are cut for housing”.

During the protest occurred clashes between Italian police and protesters. The videos showed a group of riot police with rubber batons and shields violently attacking the protesters. Moreover, several activists threw firecrackers policemen while others tried to protect themselves from police forces.
