Dubai is the first city to have its own web typography

The Crown Prince of Dubai (Saudi Arabia), Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, quoted by the WAM Agency, announced Sunday the launch of supply Dubai Font, a step considered very important to become the first in the digital world.
Dubai Font is a unique project that reflects the heritage and culture of the United Arab Emirates. The font was developed simultaneously in latin and Arabic and is available for 100 million users of Office 365 worldwide.

He hoped that “the new source and its unique characteristics will become popular from other sources used in line and new technologies”. 
According to the Agency, WAM, the source was designed “with unique features that encourage self expression and reading”.
