Pachuca stands with Concacaf Champions League trophy

Pachuca became monarch of the League of champions of Concacaf 2016-17 and held the Club World Cup this year in United Arab Emirates, after winning 1-0 to Tigres UANL.

Before a packed estadio Hidalgo, Pachuca, who directs the Uruguayan Diego Alonso, won with a goal by the Argentine Franco Jara, at minute 79, to give the Crown to the Hidalgo set.
> Barcelona will pay tribute to Messi for his 500 goals with the win, Pachuca reached its fifth Concacaf title after which they won in 2002, 2007, 2008 and 2009-10 and 2016-17 campaigns.

Few, but clear goal chances had both teams in the first 45 minutes.

La afición hidalguense alentó en todo momento a su equipo. The Tigers have silenced the stadium when Gignac French burst local crossbar with a shot that put the House to shake.
