At least four killed by collapse of building in Cartagena

At least four people were killed, 20 were rescued and 11 were injured, after the collapse of a building under construction, this Thursday in the Blas de Lezo district, to the southwest of Cartagena, informed the Department administrative district of health of Colombia (Dadis).

For its part, the Cuerpo de Bomberos de Cartagena said that the heavy rains that fell over the city on Wednesday could have affected the building of 6 floors.

Instead of the collapse, relief agencies are to bail out people who lie beneath the rubble, those who are being sent to the clinics of Blas de Lezo and El Bosque.
“It’s a real disgrace; We have activated all authorities, we are pulling out injured and we will pay the best attention. We are also enabled with all hospital network”, said Duke.
