More than 1,000 refugees enjoyed the classic in Greece

In the refugee camps located in the Greek city of Thessaloniki, residents enjoyed this Sunday in a day of sports and cultural activities on the occasion of the match which pitted teams of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona football.
In the place were present figures as the former Spanish player Carles Puyol, together with Jaume Roures entrepreneur and Javier Tebas, President of the League of professional football in Spain (LaLiga). Also attended the immigration Minister of Greece, Yiannis Mouzalas.

“The effort is making Greece with refugees is tremendous. We have to make the world see it and why we are here,”said Thebes.
In this sense, Carles Puyol, who came as Ambassador of LaLiga, thanked the invitation to it and pointed out that “sport has the power to change the world. The classic is a party for the world.”
“Today is a very important day for the League and I am pleased to be here. It will be an unforgettable day for me,”said Puyol.

Activities available for those attending the event, as well as giant screens, include an area to refine the aim before the goal (known as “Shooting Goal”), a 3 x 3 football field and many gifts.
