The President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, warned that right in that country intended to create a climate of ungovernability after the electoral results of the second round released by the National Electoral Council (CNE), which ratified the country Alliance candidate, Lenín Moreno, as winner.

Before this campaign, Correa said that he supports a proposal “above legal” raised also by the Mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot, to promote a recount of votes. “We fully support this proposal. We ask the CNE (National Electoral Council) that, despite not being contemplated in the law, accept it”, he wrote.
