Peru expects more rains that threaten to aggravate flooding after 75 deaths

The regions of the North coast of Peru, the most affected after heavy rains that have left at least 75 dead in the country, will live even more pronounced rainfall this week, announced the national service of meteorology and hydrology (Senamhi).
The prognosis expected thunderstorms and heavy rain, with up to 150 liters per square meter per day, until Thursday March 23 in Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque and La Libertad regions, totaling altogether about 64,000 people and a few affected 360,000.

On this Saturday night, the Viru bridge a minor collapsed by the floodwaters of the river of the same name when several vehicles were up its structure, so far leaving four missing, among them.
