Venezuela and Kuwait to assess compliance with the OPEC agreement

The Chancellor of Venzuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held Wednesday a meeting with the oil Minister of Kuwait, Essam the Marzook, and the Chancellor kuwaiti Sabah Khaled al – Ahmad Al-Sabah. 
The visit form part of a tour of the delegation Venezuelan that includes to the Minister of petroleum Nelson Martinez. The series of meetings aim to verify and give continuity to the agreements made at the heart of the Organization of the petroleum exporting countries (OPEC).
The agreement signed by 25 of oil, OPEC and non-OPEC producing countries seeks to reduce production at 1.7 million barrels per day in order to stabilize the prices of crude oil in the world.
In a series of Tweets the Chancellor reported on the results of the meeting. During the same two countries shared their agendas in “matter, energy, petrochemical and water”. Detail also evaluated the implementation of the agreement of price stabilization that the Chancellor described as historic.

Kuwait and Venezuela agreed to strengthen their ties of bilateral cooperation for the welfare of their peoples.

Together agreed a date for the meeting of the first mixed Commission between the two countries in order to expand areas of joint work.
The Chancellor arrived to Kuwait this Wednesday after visit Russia, Iran and Iraq, where has held meetings with the Chancellors and Ministers of oil of each country.
