Qatar spent 500 million dollars per week in World Cup

The Minister of Finance of Qatar, Ali Shareef al – Emadi, announced this Tuesday that the host country of the World Cup in 2022, performs an expenditure of $ 500 million a week, to put the nation in the face of the sporting event.
In addition, the Minister said that this powerful investment will continue uninterruptedly until the year 2021.

In this respect, Qatar suffered its first budget deficit in 15 years, which was encrypted by more than 11,200 million euros in 2016.
