4.2 earthquake recorded near capital of Peru

An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 shook this Sunday Lima, capital of Peru. 

The epicenter was located in the city of El Callao, located in the Center-West of the South American country, facing the sea, and had a depth of 35 kilometres. 

In this regard, the Geophysical Institute of Peru reported that it was a movement of medium intensity. While local media branded it as “strong”.
