A third journalist murdered in Guatemala in less than 4 days

The Guatemalan cameraman Giovanni Guido Villatoro (20) was shot dead Friday after an armed attack by motorists running outside the canal where he worked, becoming the third journalist killed in the country this week.

“Servicable roundly condemns the vile and cowardly murder of our friend, co-worker and journalist Armando Guido Villatoro, who excelled in channel (local) 14 for being a journalist devoted to his work,” the company said in a message posted on your Facebook account.The journalist was attacked while he was at work, in the municipality of Chicacao, Suchitepéquez, south of Guatemala, and died in the Guatemalan Institute of Social Security, where he was taken with gunshot wounds in the back, according to information provided by the bodies of emergency
