Lima Film Festival attracted over 120,000 people

About 120 thousand people flocked to movie theaters and cultural centers where movies Lima Film Festival were screened, it was reported last night at the closing ceremony of the event.
The festival, which has 18 years of uninterrupted activity, began on Friday and lasted until 8 last night, taking a large number of international guests and programming functions in the capital and in some provincial cities.
During the awards ceremony, held at the National Grand Theater, noted that attendance has remained true to this meeting of the Seventh Art.
The film selected as Best Fiction, the top prize awarded by the Lima Film Festival, went to “People of good” Colombian Franco Lolli.
Excited filmmaker thanked the award and said it has been a privilege to attend this festival and make friends with many personalities dedicated to the Seventh Art.
In other categories, “Cockaigne” Argentine Lisandro Alonso won the Grand Jury Prize, while the Uruguayan Manuel Nieto of “The place of the son” was chosen Best Director and Chilean Peruvian Inti Briones was regarded Best Cinematography for “The Quispe Girls “.
Also, Leandra Leal and Milhem Cortaz of “The wolf at the door” of Brazil were considered the best actor and actress respectively.
