The president of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega said Thursday his solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemned the genocidal bombing of Israel.
“How are we going to condemn us not, at this time, the genocide being committed against the Palestinian people again? Now go over there 80 dead, children, youth of all ages. Who for that genocide? “Said the president.
When holding a meeting yesterday with the manager-director of the World Bank, Mulyani Indrawati, the president said that the people and government of this Central American nation in solidarity with Palestine in the struggle for peace.
“Nicaragua is, from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), fully committed to peace; especially when we have suffered so many wars here, “he said.
The heavy bombing of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip left so far left more than 80 people dead and hundreds injured.
