The two Russian journalists detained in Ukraine LifeNews channel since 18 May, Oleg Sidiakin and Marat Sáichenko have been released, according to the channel.
On the release of the journalists reported through social media leader of the Russian republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who announced that a plane with journalists on board and is heading to Kiev Grozny (capital of the republic).
“Until tomorrow morning Marat Oleg and be in Grozny, and tomorrow will be in Moscow with their families and colleagues,” Kadyrov wrote.
Meanwhile, the chief editor of LifeNews, Ashot Gabrelianov thanked the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, and the leader of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov.
