Venezuelan public defense strengthens Latin American integration

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Block Official Public Defenders of the Southern Common Market (Blodepm), ended Friday in Uruguay with positive developments in the field of social security for the region.
During the meeting, the representatives of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay congratulated the Public Advocate General of Venezuela, Ciro Araujo, to present projects coming to strengthen access to justice in the nations of Latin America and the Caribbean.
“We must join hands to be one of the regions of the world that offers the best guarantee of social justice,” said the general coordinator also dependency attached to the Southern Common Market (Mercosur), Ciro Araujo.
In his speech, the Venezuelan presented a project for the creation of a Working Committee which was approved by all attending the meeting.
It will aim to assess the contributions of the institutions on access to justice for people in vulnerable conditions in Latin America.
“With the creation of the Task Team is expected to achieve the exchange of experiences and good practices on access to justice, allowing the implementation of the same in the other States which have not been developed these activities,” said Araujo .
