At least four killed by heavy rains in Colombia

At least four people were killed Friday after being victims of a landslide caused by heavy rains in Colombia.
The incident occurred in the town of the department of Nariño Lles (southwest). This was announced by the head of the state National Unit for Disaster Risk Management, Carlos Ivan Marquez.
He said several homes were you affected by the natural event that keeps officials alert state Civil Protection of Nariño.
In another incident, revealed that there are two missing persons in the state of Antioquia (northwest), specifically in the town of Bethulia.
He added that a similar situation is recorded in Caquetá (southeast), where rains have wreaked havoc causing two rivers to overflow and intense floods that have so far affected about two thousand people.
On April 25, 2014, heavy rains in northern Colombia killed one person and left more than 60 victims. Since then, authorities have been deployed throughout the country to prevent further damage.
